is rustorelum a good product to put on frames for show trucks

Nope, Rustoleum is an overrated product that IMO has no use for automotive applications. You need something like POR15, base coat-clearcoat paint, or Imron to be anything close to durable. Nothing from a "rattle can" is going to do much good.
