I believe the Advanced Design trucks went on sale in 1947 and ended production in early 1955. Here is information on 1948 Chevy truck frames...

thanks for the info it has helped alot. What i'm actually doing is puting a nova subframe on my 49 chevy 1/2 ton short box pickup and the rearend is a mid 80's s-10 i'll also be using the s-10 leaf springs. i got my frame without axsles, i have factory axsles but didn't want to mount them in just to find the center in reference to the frame rail but with the chassis dimensions you helped me find i wont have to go though all that extra work. this job is simular to my project were i put a 94 jeep wrangler body on a 72 chevy blazer frame i found frame dimensions for both frames and matched the jeep frame to blazer frame so after shortening the frame and fabing up new body mounts the jeep body bolted right on lot of people think i'm nuts but its all fun for me. thanks again derek
