frame info

does anyone know the track width [front and rear] and also the frame width on an s-10 i know they had different wheelbases.im trying to find an alternative to replace someone else's handy work

frame on the s10 frame I'm using on a project is 40 1/2inches wide, the track width, well I measure center to center of the tires on stock rims & it was 54.... if you're working on a late47 to 1st series 55 the S10 frame will work.... here's a site on one http://www.usbody.com/Install%2047%20chevy.htm .....joe

thanks for the info im trying to help a friend of mine with his project, a 47 dodge truck the the last owner put a sub frame in it and its not right .
