Frame mounted master/booster combo--appreciate advice

Hey guys:
I just installed a smooth firewall on my 50 chevy pickup and would like your advice on buying a quality frame mounted master cylinder and booster kit. Also, are there any issues with mounting the master on the frame? Would this setup affect braking quality or feel? I am keeping the original steering column. Any advice would be very much appreciated.

There are really no major problems with a frame mounted mc/booster. Only one I can even think of if the exhaust is too close to the mc/booster it can shorten it's life. Most all the frame mounted systems I've see available use the late sixties Corvette mc. Be leery of any combination that uses some off the wall mc that you cannot buy at just about any auto parts store.
