You need to use V8 frame stands to mount the engine. The 6 cylinder stands won't work. If you have the correct V8 stands, there should be holes already in the X-member to bolt them to.
As a test, you can mount the motor mounts to the engine and hang the stands from the engine mounts then carefully lower the engine into position and if the stands are correct, you should see the bolt holes where they mount. Then lift the engine back out of the way and bolt up the stands. The stands will look like these:
