Frame needed for a 1940 Ford Pickup

I saw a discussion on here recently....somebody knew where a frame was.....but I cannot find that conversation now.....can anyone tell me what year model frames will work and where I can find one reasonably priced?

40 P/U Frame

The 40/41 P/U frame, was what amounted to the 40 car frame, The 35/40 car frames will work.

1940 Ford Pickup frame in stock condition

Thanks again, Bob.....this is my first to try to build.....it is a solid little truck, but ugly right now. I tell everyone it looks so bad because its the same age as myself......lol.

They are not as ugly as the 37/38/39. I build a 39 for my wife years ago she really liked the truck when it was done, she had it quite awhile.

I had most of my 39/40's back in high school they were easy to find back then. They have a lot of parts for them, so you should not have trouble finding parts.
