Frame question???

I have a 47 dodge pickup that I recently discovered I will not be able to reuse the original frame. My question is, I've heard you could use an S-10 frame. Is this just a 2wd or could i use a 4wd, any certain year? Also, could a person use a dakota frame? Any help is appreciated.

hell yeah you can use a dakota frame. front set up is actually a better set up than chevy, but its 6 lug :mad:

any year that is recomended for that? i want to stay 2wd, could i modify a 4wd frame to work, assuming I allready had one?

it would be gay to modify it. just get like a mid to late 80's dakota it has 5 lug and sell what you have.
