Post Frame swap

I am putting a 50 chevy on a 83 chevy caprice classic ,using the complete floor pan and all the running gear, (my 50 chev floor pan and frame was junk) the 50 wheelbase is 116 inches,.....the 83 caprice is 116 inches, ( A LOT OF WELDING )must be done to mate the 50 to the 83 floor pan, but when done you have great ride and handeling, ( basically you are driving a 83 chev with a 50 body,......... I have done 2 49 mercs. the same way, sold them and the owners love the ride and handling,... ....... Al Cooper....
