Frameconstruction 4 dummies?

Hi, it's been a while since I was here last time and much planning has been done but not quite so much work as I'd liked.

I need tips on building your own frame for the car.
I like the look of the backbone frametype, it's good looking and stiff as h**l.
Ladderframes are ok too I guess but I like to do things differently...

To be honest I'm not even sure where to start. If there are any good webpages that you know of I could start by reading up on it, if not I'll have to start pestering you guys.

Buy some books on chassis fab. Go look on Amazon.com and you'll find a few. They wil be much more useful than anyone here could be without wasting weeks of time explaining things. There are a lot of good books out there. Boyd Coddington has one that I hear is pretty good, and thankfully, not written by him.
