Just stumbled onto this free Photoshop type software for image creation and manipulation called Pixlr. It is free and comes from Autodesk which is reputable outfit that has been around a long time...so no malware etc. involved.
The nice thing is you can go to this site and either download the software or better yet, just use the on-line version to insure you don't get anything loaded on your computer you don't want.
I use Photoshop quite a bit and I found this free program to be the equivalent of P-Shop 7 or even higher. You art "Pros" may not need it, but it is a great resource for folks who want to noodle around a bit a get their feet wet in the image creation field.
