Fresh from the machine shop cleaning tips for engine block!
ok Ive sent my 200 inline six to the machine shop to clean up the block with .040 pistons cam bearings milled deck and i also included the head to cut the valves and seats meanwhile milling the head .040. to increase compression after deshrouding the valves and porting the bowls. I was just wondering how can i fully clean the block and headsprior to assembly to ensure that everything is Spick And Span??? maybe some bottle brushes wd-40. anyone have any tips on this???? cleaning the hardparts prior to assembly i mean. oh and painting the outside i know is a no brainer with brake cleaner.
