fresh rebuild frustration

First time i noticed a problem was when filling coolant for the first time, i had a small puddle form below the rear driver side of the engine. by the time i noticed it maybe ten minutes later, it had stopped. thinking i had someone spilled a little when filling, i fired her up and broke in the cam. 80 miles later, the lower edges of the heads seem to be weeping. coolant is defintely in the mix on the drivers side, but the passenger side seems more like oil. even what i know is coolant seems oily. when i installed the heads i coated the first quarter inch or so of the threads with silicone sealant. used felpro gaskets dry and heads were torqued down to 70, using proper sequence. machine shop said block was within tolerance and heads had been leveled. don't detect water in oil. what gives?

Brush on Teflon sealer is better, you have some head bolts leaking. The factory puts two cubes of stop leak in each block when new to stop the problem.

cubes of stop leak? never heard of it. sounds cool.

so should i pull the bolts and reseal or should i try this stop leak. if i pull bolts, can i remove and replace one at a time or do i need to pull the head, new gasket, etc?

do all head bolts thread into water jackets?
