Front Air Bags and Leaf Springs
Hi,
I was told that one way to lower the front of my '37 Chevy pickup was to remove all the leaves except one from the leaf springs and place an air bag btw the spring and the frame at the mid point. Has anyone done that, and if so how'd it work? |

As a Old car owner and a Moderator here, I would like to WELCOME YOU to Hotrodders.com
![]() Most rodders use a dropped axle and a combination of different springs/wheels/tires to lower their 37's . OR ... install a different suspension completely, from a later model with Independent front suspension. The way you mention is NOT a safe way in my opinion. Again WELCOME Deuce ... Moderator ...
