Front Bumper repair on a 32 Pontiac? Weld and re-chrome?
I've got a broken front bumper on my 32 Pontiac, it cracked thru the bolt hole from top to bottom.
Can these Chrome bumpers be welded back together, ground smooth, and re-chromed? Is a new bumper available for a 32 Pontiac 2 door sedan? Or, is it the same as another GM product? such as a 34 Chevy? Thanks, Tom

Not sure on year swapability, but I doubt they change until '35 or so. Weld it, and send it off to be rechromed, the shop will clean up any other imperfections it might have.
