DRIVESHAFT IS A BALANCED UNIT. BEFORE REMOVING DRIVE SHAFT MARK DRIVESHAFT TO END YOKE SO THAT IT AMY BE INSTALLED AT ORIGINAL POSTION.
pull back dust slinger to remove boot from transfer case slip yoke
remove bolts and straps that retain the driveshaft to the front driving axle yoke. remove the u joint assembly from the front driving axle yoke
slide the splined yoke assembly out of the transfer case and remove the driveshaft assembly.
