re: Front-End Alignment/Rear Axle Offset
I would check the rear axle to be sure it is square to the frame (and that the frame is square) and that the axle tubes are totally staight. I had a truck once that had a bent axle tube and I didnt "feel" it when driving but tire wear was an issue over the long term....

Update!!!!
OK!!!! I did all the measuring and the offset and wheelbase are both fine and the frame is square. I found a local shop that is run by a gearhead and we are going to play with the Caster and Camber to get it to run down the road straight.
I'll put up a post when we get the end results. Thanks to all for your help.~-34 |

Got It Right!!!!
Just got back from the alignment shop. They had an old boy that worked on these old cars for years. The Caster was waaaaay Negative on the left side (driver) and after setting everything up right--------the car goes down the road straight as a string. You can take your hands off the steering wheel and it just keeps on going and going and going!!!! Thanks to all for their input~~~~~Ron
