Post front suspension

Help please. I just brought home a 52 chevy truck and i am trying to determine the best options for upgrading the front end. I have read that the suspension from a 63-84? chevy truck will work with minimum fuss and minor alteration. Is there any truth to this and if so how much trouble is it? I would appreciate any help or advice. Thanks.

In fact, I have a copy of a tech article showing how to do this installation. I haven't done it myself but it looks very easy to do. Weld a couple of 1/2" spacer plates on either side of the frame, drill and tap 4 bolt holes on either side and bolt it up! Send me your email address and I'll send you a scanned copy of the article.

Look at RB's Obsolete on the internet or get them to mail you a catalog. They build conversion kits for this. They specialize in Chevy.

Thanks for the information. It will be awhile until i get to this point but i am trying to get all my ducks in a row and pick up the things i will need in the future if i stumble along upon it. It's almost like being a kid at Christmas, you don't know where to begin.
