front suspension

I am looking to upgrade the suspension of my 68' Ford Ranchero. Is there a more economical solution than the Mustang II Kit? Will a Granada or Ranger work? I will appreciate any ideas. Thanx.

Just rebuild what you ball joints and shafts the springs are probably sagged out and some proper shocks and it should be good to go..

I have tried most all of it and now do what is known to work..

disc brakes ?

there are a lot of upgrades you can do if you don't have disc brakes a lot of factory parts interchange, our 69 came with 351, 9 in rear, front discs the fairlane falcon sites have a lot of ford specific info, I saw a post a while back on how to add new mustang dual piston front calipers , looked easy. the old ford sliding caliper tend to wear out one side of the rotors. shelby drilled new holes to move the upper A arms down about an inch on the mustang Gt 350's , Ford kicked out C Shelby on the later mustangs and A O Smith the water heater manufacturing company did the later "shelby" mustangs I don't know if that will help your rancherooo ! a granada, Maveric 5 bolt discs etc, are probably bolt on swaps/
