My 42 Lincoln Continental has so many original parts missing that I've decided I'd rather make it a "driver" than try to restore it. Any recommendations on front suspension, eg., split wishbone vs. IFS? If IFS would be best, do you recommend a kit, or trying to graft a front clip from another car?
Also, would appreciate any suggestions on engine and transmission combinations. What about rear suspension? Thanks, Yukondude dmarshallcpa@msn.com |

call Fat Man Fabrication they advertise in all the hot rod mags, exellent front end stuff that works first time, small chev-350 turbo, or 302 ford with c-4 are the easiest. 10 bolt chev-8inch ford rears, all work well with minimum hassle, if you want exotic or different it costs more. if you want reliable keep it simple.
