front suspention

I am currently building a chopped 51 ford, what i would like to no is what would be the simplest conversion, that would allow me to have fnt disc & p.s.? most after market sub frames do not list anything for a 49/51 ford any suggestions? thanks

The FatMan should have something for it. Yep ....dropped spindles and a disc brake kit for your model Ford. www.fatmanfab.com

fnt suspention

way to go ? manx 56@ aolThanks Poncho.!!!Manx...I have a friend that has a vast collection of fords Im not building a rod, as much as a week end cruiser, bagged rear chopped top ect , would like to have fuel inj, what would you suggest for a motor, I had a 4 cam ford motor but the wireing kit cos 900.00 & very few aftermarket parts are avaiable. motor wise what do you think, 289,302,351, what would be the easy way to go...thanks manx56@aol.com

A friend of mine grafted a '78 Firebird subframe onto a '51 Ford. He used a '65 Nova rear end so the wheels would match, but he had to slightly (no more than an inch) flare the rear wheel openings for tire clearance.

Since this is the Suspension forum....I would suggest that you ask your engine questions over in the...you guessed it...the Engine forum.
