I am looking at a pair of 15X8 rally wheels that have a 4.5 inch backspacing on them. Am I pushing my luck trying to cram these wheels under the front of a 68 camaro? I am currently running 15X7 with 3.75bs, and have had no problems. Please let me know if you have tried to fit any 15X8's on a First Gen Camaro or if you have any insights.

I have 8s on the rear of my 69 ss,
I tried them on the front but they rubbed, had to go back to 7s. |

Myself I never have liked spacers.
On camaros I like to see the tires tucked in as far as poss. 8 in rallys rub the lip on the rear under load. of course you can bend it up out of the way, or better yet cut it off. Eather way you ruin the quarters. |

I had aluminum spacers and they broke, causing a front wheel to come off going down the highway. Made by a popular manufacturer too. I had steel ones made locally.
