Front Wheel Drive 1953 Chevy *First Ever??* Lots of Custom work inside this thread!!
hey guys my name is casey and i run a small hot rod shop in missouri. ive built over 35 complete cars and proly worked on 100 more in my 26 years on this earth and i have no plans to stop. anyways this project started when i got a 2003 malibu for free , and just bought a very rusted out 53 chevy so naturally i decided to combine the 2. anybody that knows my shop knows im kinda partial to chassis swaps. ive proly done 10 or so, but anyways here comes the pics.

malibu is acutally 6 inches shorter wheelbase, i was going to lengthen the malibu but the way the dash was set up it actually better looking to just move the wheel opening back on the front fenders.

with all the fabrication done. hood welded and re fit, trim all shaved, emblems all shaved, custom grille opening and custom grille.

i bought the 53 on January 28th so today is the one month mark on this project, all it needs now is a front bumper and the glass installed. so whatcha guys think?
