It is located where the fuel line connects to the carb

the circle in pic one shows where located on the front of the carb (this is an olds engine, but located in same place)

picture two show

1 the filter holder removed of carb
2 filter it self
3 spring between carb and filter

fuel filter local

if you have a quadra jet carb it is in the carb
you will need a 1' and 5/8' wrench
where the fuel line enters the carb is the 2 nuts
you must use the 1' as a back up
