Post Fuel Filter

I put on a Wix fuel filter about 15,000 miles ago (about 1250 gallons ago, average of 12 mpg by the way I drive in town). Anyways, is it about time for a filter change? If not whats the average life of a Wix or any other high quality filter? In everyone opinion whats the best? Does K&N make one?Ok no more "?". Steve

Thumbs up

Motorcraft, Purolator or Wix are good names. It should be changed every year (12-15000 miles) along with the air filter and PCV valve (and inlet filter). It's cheap insurance.

Working at the local lube 'n oil when I was younger it was recommended to change the fuel filter every 20K or when performance is sacrificed due to clogging.
