Fuel filter location on 2002 S-10 w/4.3

Ok I know that this is a bit boneheaded for this board but one of my coworkers who is 97% nonmechanical has an 02 S-10 4x with a 4.3 and cannot locate his fuel filter. The truck isn't here to look at so can anyone throw some light on it?
Thanks R

Log into AutoZone or Advance Auto and find the year for the fuel filter and then it will show you where it is at and how to remove it also.

It should be located on the drivers side frame rail, but watch out because you have to depressure the fuel lines before taking the lines apart.

S-10 fuel filters are located either on the drivers side frame near the gas tank or on the firewall.
