fuel gage no work
ok, ta start with, wife and I gout a 99 isuzu rodeo ls couple years ago, needed lot of work. the factory fuel gage did not work, we finally found out the problem was supposed to be the fuel sending unit, got a new 1, i dropped the tank, replaced it. The factory fuel gage still does not work. the idiot light for the fuel still blinks on/off when it wants to....lol... I have tryed an aftermaket gage also and it aldo didnt work before I replaced the sending unit. since I have replaced the sending unit, the aftermarket just will jump to past full mark and stay there till it has no power. Any ideas on what next? was told ta check it with a voltage tester, but honestly I dont have or know whow to use that..... I drive bout 2 hours round trip a week, so a working fuel gage would be really nice and helpful...lol..... thanks fer any opions/ideas.

update
well, filled up the fuel tank and re-hooked up the aftermarket gauge. since the tank is full, the gauge goes to 3/4 full mark......
