Fuel pressure regulator

I have a Holley Blue pump. I want to get use it on a car I am going to sell. I have used the regulator that comes with the blue pump. I have used a few of them. They don't work worth a piss. The regulators will eventually be overpowered by the pump.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a 3/8" regulator that is cheap, will actually work, and will regulate at 5 to 7 psi?

Agreed on the regulator. However, if the regulator has another output, you can add another output there as a bleed off line routed back to the tank, just as a stock mechanical pump does, just figure up whatever size orifice you need, you could likely use a jet from a holley carb.

Not real cheap but the Mallory regulators are as good as any out there. I have run them on several cars and never had a problem. The holley regulators are pretty bad. I have not tried their newer ones (and probably won't), I'll stick to what I know works.

I was looking at the Mallory 2 port. The Comp 110 I had ran for years with no problems. The motor eventually burnt up.Then I switched to the Holley blue pump and regulator. Big mistake.
