fuel pump vent

my vent canister was originally on passenger side (oldsmobile) but sbc alternator causes battery to be there so what would be a good way to to vent the fuel pump. it doesn't have to pretty

The vapor canister vents the fuel tank not the pump. It's a charcoal filled canister that only is there for emmissions. 1 line is vacuumto the intake, 1 goes to the top of gas tank. you could relocate anywhere but they are usually low so that if they get filled with fuel, overfilling the tank, it won't dump in the engine compartmen. Just have to lengthen or splice hoses.
