fuel lines

Best thing to do is get under the car and chase the lines down and see where they go. With a stock fuel tank and carbureted engine, you dont need a return valve anyway.

no return needed?

there wasnt a return line on the car when i purchased it thats why i assumed i was missing one. and your sure that i can go without one with normal driving conditions and wont run into any sort of problems?

69, with the correct fuel pump, should only have 2 lines anyhow. Unless you got a later pump, with the return line, I wouldn't bother with it.

Except the one that goes up to the carb, I hope.

I wouldn't even worry about the other line. Unless the pump has an extra return line on it, it was never designed to return fuel anyhow.

There were 3 lines in 69. One was fuel line, one was to the charcoal canister and one was the vent. If you are not using the canister line, cap it off to keep dirt/insects out. The vent line should go to a roll-over valve installed higher than the tank top (safety item)
