Fuel Sender Repair

The fuel sender in my fuel cell has stopped working, I took it apart and the wire from the center terminal, that goes to the gauge, has come off the small board is it difficult to resolder it back on, how careful do you have to be with the heat on the small board. This board is where the float piece sweeps against.

You certainly can re-solder the wire to the board, but use a small low wattage soldering iron. If you apply too much heat you will cause a separation of the foil circuit run from the board.
