I'm thinking about plumbing my fuel system with hard stainless or mild steel tubing. I have flaring tools and benders to do the job. But I also have alot of components in the system that have aluminum fittings Can you attach a steel tube to an Aluminum AN fitting? Is there any galling issues, or leak problems if you do that?
For instance, this is an EFI car and I will have a regulator mounted somewhere near the engine that is made of aluminum, and I imagine aluminum fittings threaded into it.
Any thoughts?
