Full scale replica of chitty chitty bang bang

While cruising around on my 78' big bore Honda scooter the guy down the block had his life's project out front. It was a functional custom life size chitty chitty bang bang. All customized, Everything was fabricated by a master of their craft. Wooden boat tail, retractable wings, brass instruments, custom, custom , custom,. Your eyes would have popped out.

I took a picture , but I do not have his permission. I will put this one up . In low quality at bad angle. I will see if he okays the display and show more. People can be touchy about this. He told me there was never a real car in the movie it was a prop. This is the only one.

This was superb, and literally the stuff dreams are made of.

I love someone with a passion like that. And a theme, a theme is so fun, every nut and bolt has to follow that theme.

Disney should being trying to get ahold of this guy. It would be an attraction to be appreciated for sure.

I have seen tons of customs. Nothing like this labor of love.

Wings!

Just saw this...Hey! That's my car! thanks for the compliments. It is a hand made replica of the movie car. A lot of work to build, just about every nut and bolt had to be hand made. And a lot of fun to drive. The funnest part is letting the kids sit in it and honk the horn. The smiles on their faces is absolutely priceless.
