Say again????

Un bolt the bottom shock bolt, remove the shock from the mount, and allow the shock to extend. Undo the 36mm nut on the outside end of the CV shaft, and then the 6 bolts holding it to the stub on the diff. with this done, the plunge joint will be able to compress and slip under the stub. Put a jack under the control arm, and by finagling the height of the arm, the shaft will slide out through the bottom.

I havent done one in a while, but I think if you remove the sway bar link you can unbolt the axle flange and the outer nut,and remove the axle assembly through the bottom. It would,in some cases probably be easier to undo the shock, sometimes it is hard to remove a sway bar link and save it.
