Future owner/driver of panel truck...

Just a couple gratuitous shots of my 4 year old. Perhaps the truck will be finished by the time he can drive.. 'course by then, I'll have to fill the cargo area with batteries, to power an electric motor....or maybe a hydrogen set up , lol....

Well he sure looks like he likes it...The truck is coming along nicely..
I got a little hotrodder with dibs on mine too.She just turned three and likes to help..usually she reads to me ...(she pretends) then asks a million questions about what I'm doing..
When I start it up all my other grand kids run away crying but she runs over and jumps in....I wanna go pawpaw...
We're two of the luckiest men on the planet..

Great looking kids guys! Love the curiosity they bring to the table aaaand the unashamed honesty, like..."that looks silly daddy" ....At the same time they make me feel like I know a lot but how much I really DON'T know..

Enjoy every moment guys, they grow up quick..when they get to the teens everything changes...but the relationship you build now will last and they wont forget it....no matter how much they say they hate you (and they will)and give you those dirty looks...working on that old car together will bridge the barriors and all that BS ends for a while and you can be friends ...it held true with me and my Dad and my son and I.
Some of my fondest memories of my dad (Rip) were when we were working on an old car...I can remember helping him out when I was 5yrs old.
hotrodders without kids are truely missing out...we're the lucky ones...
Geeze, now I gotta look through all the old pics to see if theres any of dad and I when I was a little ankle bitter..

LOL.Chas, I thought something was missing....the pic does remind me of when I got gas and left a big gulp soda on the roof ...I was wondering what everyone was honking and pointing at ...what a mess when I hit the brakes...
