I have a 1989 Bonneville driveline (3800 V6 with 4spd automatic) and want it in the rear of a car - more like mid-engine. Q: for the inners, what size/splines are C5 97-2002 Corvette rear axles versus the GM FWD axles? Wondering what it will take to graft the FWD transaxle into C5 vette rear suspension. ALSO: any "easy" larger brake swaps onto early Fiero front ends? Anyone ever put C5 spindles & brakes, etc into one?
Details to me at tommy@huxcomm.net THANKS! [ March 19, 2002: Message edited by: hotrod_tommy ]</p> |

I like your idea, I wish i could shed some more light on it but sorry i cant. Another option might be the rear section of a Fiero? Not quite as trick, but maybe alot easier. Just a thought!
Good luck , keep us posted. |
