Post fyi

just a few tidbits i thought i would share.
here goes.
1) NEVER!!! go to a swap meet on the last day and hope to find what you need. (of course you knew that! dumb a** me did it anyways today)

2) new shop here in erie town. Nagle motorsports and hobby. when i hear "motorsports" i think of crappy nascar stuff.. not the case here!
nostalgia drag videos, posters, clothes, books, model kits.
all hotrod, muscle and drag racing stuff, cool place.

3)in response to a question posed else where on this board, if i didn't have a life, my car would be on the road right NOW!

4)thank you for your time, live long, do good work.

5)send me olds parts!

Ahhhhh, wheed hoppa, you learn so much as I. The school of hard knocks is always open.

Never pass a swap meet table and say, "I'll get it on the way out"

Agreed, if I was a fithly rich gypsy, I'd have some cars! Or one of my new favorite southern expressions, "If your house ain't on whells, you ain't got no fast car!"

And last, come and get my spare parts. ROAD TRIP!!!

Once upon a time in the West there was a Sunday Swap Meet at which a friend of mine found a fairly rare Dodge Red Ram Hemi 3 2bbl manifold. Another fella was holding it in his hand and opining as to how he wasn't even real sure that $40 manifold was for a Red Ram but he might be willing to take a chance for $20. The owner and he talked a few minutes and he still held the manifold in his hands. They couldn't reach agreement so he put down on the table. My friend handed the vendor his $40 and picked up the manifold saying, "I don't know about your baby Hemi, but this manifold will sure fit mine!" That manifold resides on the Hemi in a 32 Roadster to this day.
