G body/S10 front suspension

I'm putting a s10 chassis under a 51 chevy truck and wondering if there is a way to widen the front end with without using wheel spacers. I know there are some trick race car parts avaible for the metric cars maybe someone makes wider control arms.

I seen one company advertising rack and pinion steering for the metric and s10 suspensions wondering if anyone has bought one and are they worth the money. If I remember right the price was around $700.

Speedway Motors has a selection of tubular A-arms for G-bodies in different lengths, and they are pretty reasonable in cost too.
