Garage Door Opener for Shop Doors

It's been a while since I've been around this site. I've recently sold my old house with a single car garage and bought a new house with a 2 car garage and a 48x36 shop. Now that I'm moved in I'm looking to install openers for both 12 foot high doors in the shop. The problem is that what I have found at the big box stores (Lowes, Home Depot) isn't really designed for doors over 7-8 feet high. I'd like to know what you guys are using for your shop doors?

I use the old "one man hp chain drive" for my 14 x 18 RV roll up but for my 20 x 8 door I changed out the NOISEY troublesome unit for a "Lift Master", Elite series 3800. This thing is great!!, it installs on the wall and connects directly to the jackshaft. Looks like a vertical loaf of bread sitting there, VERY QUIET and has a security bolt that automatically ingages when the door shuts. It has never given me an ounce of trouble for 2 yrs. now...take a look before you buy.

Check the local yellow pages for the people that do commercial doors..for the OP there are some in tacoma and olympia that install those openers..

I also installed a Lift Master 3800 when I converted my door to a high-lift so I could clear a 4 post lift. This is the best opener I have ever had and it is very quite and smooth. Be sure to check it out.
