Garage floor pic

A little over a month ago I posted for some suggestions for my garage floor. I went with the Sherwin Williams Hi Clad Epoxy Coating and would recomend it to anybody who would like to do thier garage. This product is just a few dollars more than the water based quik crete, but is much more superior product being oil based. Here is a pic of the almost complete garage, Because it is at my house my wife got to pic the colors.

Very nice. Was your concrete discolored or oil stained before you put that down? (Just wondering how well it covers and adheres.) Also, can you tell yet how slippery it is going to be, or do your shoes stick to it pretty well. My fear sometimes is that a very nice epoxy, covered with a thin film of oil, could spell slip and fall...especially for us old duffers. But man, it sure looks great.

LOL

Looks nice.

From my expierience these floors are super slippery, we have hangar floors painted up, but I think it's worth the risk. Just keep it clean and have a bag of absorbal handy for small oil/fuel spills.

the floor was very dirty and oil stained. I cleaned it for a week. This product covers very good. I almost had the whole garage done with one kit (2 car garage) the color being so light surprised me how well it covered. I put 2 coats (kits). I would assume that it would be slippery when wet this is a semi gloss product. It also comes in a satin.
