I just took a week off of work and did it all in one shot. It took about a day to fab the beams, and one more to hang and finish the beams and perlin. It took the rest of the time to do the insulation and sheet metal with some help from my brother. If you have not yet bought insulation, I would recommend Astro Foil. It is aluminum covered bubble wrap basically. It is 1/4 inch thick, very easy to put up, and has an R19 insulation value. It is about $.05 a foot more than the fiberglass, but well worth it. You can see what it looks like in my photo album if you are interested and have not seen it.

I wish I had 40x50 now, but at the time I thought I would never fill up 30x40. Might add on in a couple years. Have fun.

Chris

Thanks Chevyluv,
are you sure about that.2 teenage girls and a 22 yr old boy.Ofcourse there is an up side, if there's anything you need to know just ask them they know everything.Or if your fond of the word NO than you will love my 15 yr old thats her favorite word.( Jaimie, would do me a favor and.... NO).Then there's the my 17 yr old.If you want to hear some of the most imaginitive lies then she's your ticket. But you'll always know when she's telling a tale because she won't be able to look you in the eye.And as for the 22 yr old son well you won't have any real problems with him,so I'll throw him in for free.Except that he'll eat you out of house and home and he's always late with the rent check.
I'll ship them UPS.But not over night, costs to much. And I'll give 30 days parts and labor(my labor not theirs cause you'll be lucky to get any out of them).I have a stricked no return policy after the 30 days. And the only reason your getting that is I got my ***** handed to me in court by the last couple I tried to pawn them ... umm I mean place them with.
The reason I'm giving you the whole story is cause of the truth in advertizing laws, their pretty stricked about that sort of thing.lol
:p Tom
