Just drop by your neighborhood Wally World, Lowes, or Home Depot. they all carry them now, you can't buy anything like the old style cans anymore, even the "Self Venting" types are illegal. I save all my old spouts as my cans go bad. Watch Craigslist or your local "Sell-It-Yourself" newspapers for gans for sale.
I haven't tried it yet, but it may be possible to find a PVC plumbing fitting that would fit tightly inside the neck of a can, and use the clear tubing as shown in the other post in this thread.
I have 2 of the new cans, and had to add 3/4" clear tubing (you have to heat it up to put it on) to get fuel in my diesel P/U. until I diod this mod, I spilled about a quart from each 5 gal can each time I filled the truck.

Next time your out of state check Wal Mart. I've purchased the old style fillers in the automotive section and if the can you have is plastic you can thread the old style onto the new style. They con't like it but they will seal. After a history of on and off it will get easier. I've got three 5 gal cans I've done that to. Pour from the side and they will vent.
