gas conversion kit for Hobart 150
I'm definitely a novice when it comes to welding.
I'm looking to purchase my first welder and need some advice.
I do know from lots of internet reading that
1) buy a quality welder
2) buy a 220 welder if you plan on doing any sort of welding of thicker metal.
I am going to look at a used Hobart 150 welder that is for sale locally.
I'm hoping it fits the bill for both quality and power.
unfortunately it doesn't have the gas conversion kit for MIG welding.
Are these conversion kits expensive?
And would I need one that is specific to Hobart welders ,or are they generic?
