The HPG-1 filter is an old diesel fuel filter, that got put into the aftermarket. other companies make filter elements because they were used in stock applications.. But it is still a diesel fuel filter..

I have a brand new HPG-1 kicking around somewhere, bought it and then found out it wouldn't work for what I needed

fuel filter

Thanks user151. I think I will go with the ROBBMc since it uses NPT fittings and that is what I am set up for. I believe the Russel uses -AN fittings.
