Gas leaking from carb, which gasket do I replace?
I have a Holley 750cfm with Vacuum secondary. When you pump the pedal you can see a little bit of gas around the shaft of the butterflies. I'll try to explain it a little more. When you connect the throttle linkage to the carb, its that shaft but on the other side of the carb. If the electric fuel pump is on, it doesn’t leak. But once you push the pedal you can see a small amount of gas around the outer edge of the shaft. The car has dual carb and the rear plugs have been really black. So it is leaking even more inside. I took the carb apart but wasnt sure what gaskey is causing the issue or if it even is a gasket issue.
Thanks. |

I jsut bought a rebuild kit, so I'm guessing that all the gaskets are included. But I'll try to look for that bushing.
Thanks! |
