What I meant was that from a technical standpoint the "look" of this forum is just kind of blah and boring. It reminds me of the early internet. I'm sure it's functional and it serves its purpose well enough, but it could be improved. The smiley's are pretty cool though. I kind of dig this one in particular

Huh? That's how you judge a forum?? I'm almost curious what board you consider up to date and exciting, but I wouldn't click on a link unless I recognized it.

One thing I see, though. And that is how threads about those g-m people bring out the trolls. Don't they realize that by posting about it- even to defend them- brings the dirt all back up again? How oblivious it that?

Actually, I was just saying that the smileys were the only technical part of the forum I liked. I was trying to be nice and not say the entire look of it was crap. Just most everything else about it. It's functional I guess. As far as GM thing goes, I'm not trolling. I just expressed my opinion. You can disagree. I don't know much about them at all. I'm not old drinking buddies with them and I don't really have much interest other than I watched them on TV, found this forum through a Google search, read through all the admin hub bub from the past and found it stupid and overblown. Honestly, I don't see the big deal about what they did. This is 'Merica. We ought to be able to market ourselves without some guy getting all bent out of shape. I bet if he had the chance to be on a TV show, he would jump on it too, but no one is asking him, which is probably why he was mad to begin with. He was jelly. Anyway, I like this smiley too. It's pretty cool. This one though is dated. I mean, seriously, who uses those big monitors any more? Flat screen is where it's at.

Well, that JunioR guy won the biker build-off again.
Those gASS-monkey clowns got 2nd I guess. IMO, Jesse won it last year, but this year his bike was late, and it wasn't really all that cool.
Senior made a BIKE this time, and it was pretty cool.

NO MORE American Chopper show. Yay. That show was worthless drama.

On the flip-side, we got AMISH MAFIA! ( Which is actually somewhat interesting! )

THE H.A.M.B. - Powered by vBulletin looks nice. Same function but not as hard on the eyes. I don't care for the black background. Also, the hotrodders graphic in the corner is white on a black background. Doesn't blend well. I don't care for the fonts much either and the overall look reminds me of old html frames. Bleck. Function is okay though. And looooove the smileys. I only wish I had more to choose from.

the tv show is great, when you take it for what it is..entertainment
what the guy did 6 years ago doesn't matter, hold a grudge much..
I'm sure there are a lot of people here that have things they've done. that they cringe when they think of them..
but I'm sure we're all angel's.. right.. ?
sorry I know my past has lumps I'd rather forget..

Yeah, Jesse probably put the most work in his bike last year and has the most skill. For style though, junior is very creative. His bikes are art over function. Drama brings ratings though, but the show got stale. Amish Mafia looked rather fake, but I didn't expect anything less.

Yup! You are right! We've all done dumb things we regret. That's why I'm not hard on the GM guys. They just pulled a dumb stunt and meant no harm. They're just guys trying to make a living like all of us.

Jesse looked like he wanted to deck that Richard Rawlins guy.
Apparently, Richard must have said something that crossed the line at some point.
He may have insulted Jesse's family or something.

There is too much trash=talking between all those guys anyway.
The producers of the shows must believe it helps ratings, but it is really degrading.

You can tell when the drama is staged. I believe Jesse is really mad at that Rawlings guy for something. Jesse did not look like he was acting.

I watched the build off. Rawlins supposedly popped off about Jesses' Ex. No class there. I would like to see them meet in an alley, I think Jesse would mop the floor with Rawlins, if he could catch him that is.... They're both egotistical fools. Jesses' bragging of his skills got old quickly.

Junior showed some class, he has a good imagination, loved the grille treatment on the bike. I won't miss their show though. Fast and loud is like watching a train wreck, you wonder what and how they will screw up next. A comedy of errors. One more guy in the mix and you could call the show the three stooges...lol.

I wonder how long the New York guys will be around without the show to support their life styles. I give them 2 years and they will be gone.

They all need to get back to their roots w/o all the TV hype. That basically ruined the lives of Jessie, Jr and Sr., when you think about it. The rest are useless and I could care less.

Yo trouble-maker, why don't you use some of the hi-techie crap you're spitting out and just change the background to white? You have that ability in your Profile and, if you'll notice, the smilies that Malc used aren't available on the Forum either but they are there aren't they??? If you don't know how to do this then I'm sure someone would be glad to help you OUT - - - hmmm, now there's a novel idea????
