Question Gas Pumps

I've heard from a few people here in the north that gas pumps are cheap in the south. Is this true. A cousin of mine told me that around S.Carolina they even have pump junkyards. I really would like to get ahold of a halfway decent old pump without shelling out an arm and leg. Well?? If you have one for a reasonable price let me know.

There are quite a few around here, but I have never priced them. see them at flea markets, swap meets, antique/junk stores and most auto gatherings. I'll have to note the prices. Any particular brand or style?

Yeah, like Madd said from the upper part of the state they are everywhere, but same as him I taint never priced one. You can find them in people yards as lawn decorations, old abandon gas stations, junk yards sometimes just sitting in the middle of a feild for absolutly no reason.

Madd,
Any particular brand would do. I just would like to have an old one that is in fairly decent shape. I was told by my cousin that in N.C. where he was living they go for around $200.00. He had one he brought back to Ohio with him and it was in great shape with the guts still intact. Around here rusted out with no guts $750.00 easy up to $1500.00 for a repainted one. Replicas go for $1200-1400. Let me know what kind of prices you have in your area.
