gas tank

in my truck im curious as to wether anyone will know how big my gas tank is. it a 83 gmc custom deluxe 1/2 ton long box, the tank on the drivers side. i was told it was 20 gallons but im not sure if thats right or not?

i never fill up at a gas station i use farm gas from my dads shop so i dont have a clue

hehe, I can't help but ask - why can't you take it once to a gas station and fill it up? Easy, a little more expensive than your Dad's pump, but very educational :-)

Yes, its 20 gallons. All 73-87 full-size long bed chevy's came with 20 gallon tanks. Both my '80 and '86 trucks do just to prove it.
