finally got a new truck.. 1997 Ford F250 with a 460 big block.. and dual tanks.. my problem is that the front tank is full and the gauge says Empty.. i no its not the switch cuz it is using the gas in the front tank cuz the rear hasnt lost a bit yet.. so could it just be the senser in the tank? well thats wut i was thinkin so i went to the parts store and asked for the switch.. he says he doesn't have the part listed for 91 and newer trucks..?? so where else do i look? thanx for any help

Most gas gauge problems result from bad grounds at the sender.

Ditto on Bob's answer. I went through this and it was the ground wire from the tank sending unit to the frame.
