Hi
Looking for good staps to hold my gas tank in place on the 30 desoto, would appreciate all ideas, do I buy them or can I just make a set out of ?. The original were not available to me.
Thanks

What I did on mine was measure and see how long they need to be. Then I hit the junk yard with my tape measure and when I found some that would work I bought them.

I've made 2-3 sets before from 1-1 1/2" banding straps. Worked really well. The straps outlasted the tank .

Have used the strapping a few times.......Whatever you use, paint it....helps it not to rust.
