Gasoline
I am getting ready to deploy for 6 months in support of America finest fighting machine. I will have to put my 66 Chevy 2 in stowage during this time. My question is what type of gas should I put in, regular or premium and what stowage additive for gas is the best? I have been told that the some additives in premium gas breaks down quicker then the gas itself.

DAVID: Six months isn't that long of storage time. Wal Mart and most auto parts stores carry a product called Stabil which is an storage additive....GOOD LUCK...DAVE

I agree, use the Stabil. I have gotten good service from that product, in the Bikes and in the Cars! I also use it in the extra gas tank on my PU truck, I don't switch over very often.

Ditto on the Stabil and if possible just have someone start it once a month or every couple of months and let it run for about a half hour or so. For that length of time it will dry out any moisture and will circulate the fluids. It won't use up much gas either.

Yep use the Stabil. What Kevin said, id really try to make sure to have someone start it every so often. Im gonna have my camaro started every 1 1/2 weeks or so.

I will take care of the problem!!
I know this is asking a lot of me you guys, but I will come out and personally drive your cars around for you and that Camaro especially should never sit for a week and a half before I drive it for you... No problem here guys, consider it done....OK? OH Yea and leave a gas card, as I may need to take extended trips with your cars and you wouldn't want ME to pay for gas would you?????
